This apartment on the top floor accessed via two flights of stairs and has the one of the best sea views in Thorpeness.

The French windows in the lounge open onto a small viewing balcony that overlooks the beach.

There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and en-suite bathroom and the second has twin beds (2ft 6" wide). There is a second family bathroom for the convenience of guests. Both bedrooms overlook the country Club courtyard.

The fitted kitchen has a fridge and freezer, dishwasher and microwave, with a large dining table for dining.

The sunny lounge has comfortable cane furnishings and a TV with DVD player, wi-fi. An excellent room to watch the sunrise over the sea.

The owner is happy to have one small dog in the apartment but it is unsuitable for large dogs. Please note the extra rental charge of £20.

This bungalow is part of a barn conversion and sits alongside other cottages in a rural location a mile from Aldeburgh. Close enough to enjoy the Aldeburgh social life but far enough away for some peace and seclusion.

Originally built in the 18th century it has been sympathetically renovated.

The bungalow has two bedrooms that can either be twin bedded or the beds can be linked together to make a kingsize double. One room has an en-suite and there is also a family bathroom.

The living area is open plan and consists of a fully equiped kitchen, dining area and living room.TV and DVD player.

To the rear of the bungalow is a small patio area.

The lounge's French window lead out onto a balcony, which provides excellent views of the tennis courts and grounds, with a glimpse of the sea from the other side of the house.


On the ground floor there are three bedrooms plus a separate family bathroom.The master bedroom has a king-size double bed, TV/VCR and en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom has a single bed plus three foot bunk beds suitable for children, and is home to a collectin of soft toys.The third bedroom offers twin beds.

Upstairs is the open plan living area, consisting of a large kitchen, dining room and lounge plus a separate cloakroom with WC and tumble dryer. The kitchen is well stocked and incldues a fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

The dining area has a large table to accommodate up to eight people, while the loung has three comfortable sofaas, TV/VCR/DVD player and music centr plus a seletionof books and games.

This three bedroom property has stunning sea views and is adjacent to the four star Brudenell Hotel overlooking Aldeburgh beach.

The best sea views are from the large sitting room and terrace only five yards from the beach. The terrace has patio furniture and a BBQ with a private gate to the beach.

There is a seperate dining room and a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer.On the ground floor is a utility room with a washing machine.

One bedroom with a double bed is on the first floor, and overlooks the beach whilst a the Master double room en-suite is on the ground floor.A third bedroom has twin beds and has a shower room. There is also a seperate family bathroom.

In the sitting room a double sofa bed can accommodate two more guests.This room has TV/DVD/Freeview. On the lower floor a cosy snug/lounge also has a TV and is ideal as a play/games room.
Both of these rooms have coal effect gas fires for cooler evenings.
Although wi-fi is not available guests may use the free wi-fi in the lounges at The Brudenell Hotel.

The owners of this property are happy to allow one small dog for which there is a £20 surcharge.

Guests with children should be aware of the proximity to the public beach one one side of the building, and the large veranda on the first floor on two sides of the building.

There are three bedrooms, two with en-suite plus a family bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and flat sceen TV. The second and third bedrooms are both twin bedded.

A large lounge has views to the front and rear with leather settees and armchairs, a double bed settee, flat screen TV with 'Freesat HD' and DVD player. The Wi-Fi is free of charge but does not allow the downloading of films etc. There are board games and books availabe for guests to enjoy on cooler days, relaxing in front of the electric log effct wall fire. For extra seating the Gallery area has cosy seating for two and looks out onto open fields.

The Bittern

( A house over three floors )

This stunning Arts and Crafts house is full of suprises. Located close to the Thorpeness Hotel and Golf Club and overlooking the famous Thorpeness Meare there is plenty to keep guests occupied.

Acommodating eleven guests and with spacious living areas and a Summer House, there is room to relax and unwind. Large familes and groups of friends will love this house.

The five bedrooms-
Bed 1) Has a king-size bed and doors opening out onto a shared veranda.
Bed 2) Has a double bed sharing the veranda with the master bedroom overlooking the gardens and Meare.
Bed 3) Has a double bed.
Bed 4) Has a double bed and a single.
Bed 5) Has twin beds.

Rooms 1, 2, and 3 have a hand basin plus there are two family bathrooms.

The comfortable sitting room and snug look out over the gardens and have TV and DVD. The dining room comfortably seats twelve with doors to the sun room.
The house has wi-fi and a telephone for incoming calls and 999.

The fully fitted kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave, with a utility room housing a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. A small room to the side is ideal for storing bikes, wellies and coats.

The ground floor also has a panelled entrance hall and impressive staircase, and a cloakroom.

A staircase from the first floor is access to the Billiard Room with a full size table.

Outside the gardens slope down to the Meare. The large central pond has a small bridge, and near the house is a patio area with furniture and a BBQ. There is a thatched Summer House/boat house with a landing stage and a rowing boat. Guests are welcome to use the boat between Easter and the end of the October Half term.

The owners encourage guests to enjoy themselves but please note that there is no smoking in or near the Summer House, and the owners and agents cannot accept any responsibility for accidents in the boat or on the water. The Meare is not fenced off from the garden.

Two well behaved dogs, with responsible owners, are welcome for which there is a charge of £20 per week. They are not allowed upstairs and wet animals are not allowed in the living areas.

At the front of the house there is room to park four cars.

Smoking is permitted in some parts of the house

An official star rating will be applied for and we anticipate a four star rating.
